Hi, I’m Amy Lyren, and I write the kind of stories I used to look for as a kid myself — gentle, a little adventurous, and full of characters who feel like real friends. My books follow Chad and the other creatures of his world through the everyday-sized challenges that feel enormous when you’re small: new places, new friends, and the moments that take a little courage. I write for the quiet bedtime pause where a story opens up a conversation between a parent and a child. My hope is simple: that families slow down together, even just for one more page.
